Michael Szabo Studio has been selected to create Threshold, a new public artwork for the Nursing & Allied Health Building at Baton Rouge Community College.
Inspired by the hand as a fundamental gesture of care, the design brings together two clusters of curved, rising forms that suggest holding, welcoming, and support.
The project is now moving into final engineering and fabrication preparation, with installation planned for 2027.
